September – October
Autumn in the Dolomites
Between September and October, larches turn Cortina’s woods gold and copper. From Càmina, set out on scenic walks and return to the warmth of the spa and fireplace.
Autumn walks
Three routes through lakes, woods and golden larches, to choose according to the time available and the kind of walk you prefer.
Scenic · about 2 hours
Start from Ponte di Ru Curto, on the road to Passo Giau, and follow trail no. 437 through the woods. The route gains about 600 metres and leads to the lake, where yellow larches are reflected in the water.
Woodland · comfortable route
Near Passo Tre Croci, Larieto surrounds you with golden larches. It is a good choice for a peaceful walk, with convenient refreshment stops along the route.
Easy · about 7 km
A circular route in Fiames that is almost completely flat. Ideal for a relaxing walk among the warm colours of the Dolomiti d’Ampezzo Natural Park.
